EIASM PUBLIC SECTOR EMERGING SCHOLARS PROGRAMME (ESP)
JOINTLY WITH 13TH INTERNATIONAL EIASM PUBLIC SECTOR CONFERENCE - PUBLIC SERVICE ACCOUNTING, ACCOUNTABILITY AND MANAGEMENT

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, SEPTEMBER 16, 2024
HISTORY

Jointly with 13th International EIASM Public Sector Conference - Public Service Accounting, Accountability and Management

More than twenty years ago (in 2002) EIASM started to organize a series of conferences on public sector management. One of the solid elements of it became a program for PhD students where they could discuss their research proposal. From 2021 onwards, this Emerging Scholars Programme (ESP) became a yearly event, organized online in the years in which no main conference is organized.

OBJECTIVE

As a PhD research proposal is of vital importance for a successful PhD trajectory, this event provides the opportunity to present and discuss this proposal to a panel of senior colleagues and peers. Therefore, we welcome submissions of proposals on all issues regarding public sector (financial) management.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Emerging scholars are invited to submit a research proposal (including a literature review, research questions and research design). This research proposal may be either the proposal for the full PhD trajectory or one that focuses on a part of it. As such, also the opportunity is provided to discuss ideas about (succeeding) phases of the PhD. Accepted proposals will be presented to an audience of senior colleagues and peers. Participants are asked to be a discussant of another proposal. During the event, different sessions with Editors of high impact journals will be held.

Submissions are welcome until 31 May 2024 via the EIASM’s online submission system.
