To create a unique forum for worldwide academic exchange of qualitative and quantitative reseaerch in the areas of International Corporate Governance, Strategic Direction and Control of Private and State Owned Companies as well as Not for Profit Organizations, HR Governance, Governance of Digitization and of Cyber Security, Responsible Board Leadership in a Glocal and Digital Age and Governance of Innovation.

Research in all stages (PhD thesis, research in progress, and completed research) is welcomed.

This 15th Research Workshop will address:

• Track A: INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
  (including Comparative Governance, Sectoral Governance and Compliance in specific countries)
   
• Track B: STRATEGIC DIRECTION
  (including Owners Strategy, Strategic Board Directives, Board Composition, Board Culture and Board Structure)
   
• Track C: HR GOVERNANCE
  (including Nomination, Review, Compensation, Training and Succession Planning of the Supervisory and Managing Boards)
   
• Track D: STRATEGIC CONTROL
  (including Integrated Reporting, Internal and External Auditing, Internal Control, IT Governance and Risk Oversight on the Board Level)
   
• Track E: GOVERNANCE OF DIGITALIZATION 
  (including Strategic Direction and Control of Digital Business and of Cyber Security, Development of a Culture for Digital Transformation, Digital Business Models)
   
• Track F : RESPONSIBLE BOARD LEADERSHIP 
  (including Direction and Control of Collective Values)
   
• Track G : GOVERNANCE OF INNOVATION 
  (including Direction and Control of Innovation on the Board Levels - Chaired by Professor Simon Grand)

The whole workshop will take place in the Hotel Métropole in which the EIASM premises are located (Place De Brouckère-plein 31, 1000 Brussels).

The Hotel Métropole is marvelously well located right in the historical centre of Brussels, just a few steps away from the “Grand-Place”, the “Bourse” and the “Theatre de la Monnaie” and close to the central and north railway stations, that each have direct connections to Brussels International airport.

FEES

The fees include participation to the workshop, lunches, the workshop dinner and morning and afternoon refreshments.

Cancellations made before October 15, 2018 will be reimbursed minus 20% of the total fee. No reimbursement will be possible after that date.
