After 9 years of largely participated and insightful events in universities of many European countries, in 2014 the EIASM Interdisciplinary Workshop on “Intangibles, IC and Extra-Financial Information” prepares itself to celebrate its 10th edition back at its starting venue. The series of the EIASM Workshops has begun in fact in 2005 at the University of Ferrara, where the 10th edition will be held on September 18-19, 2014.

The Special Issue of the Journal on Intellectual Capital is entitled : The Journal of Intellectual Capital (JIC) organizes a Special Issue to be published in 2015 drawing on the papers and the key-note speeches presented at the 10th EIASM Workshop on “Intangibles, Intellectual Capital and Extra-Financial Information” that is going to be held on September 18-19, 2014, at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Ferrara (Italy).

LOCATION : The entire workshop will take place in the premises of the Ferrara is conveniently located. It is 40 kilometers North of Bologna and 70 kilometers south of Padua. It is easily reachable by train, by air and by car. BY TRAIN Ferrara is on the direct railway line connecting Rome to Florence, Bologna, Padua and Venice. From Milan one has to change in Bologna. By train Ferrara is distant 25 minutes from Bologna, 50 minutes from Padua, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Venice, 1 hour and a half from Florence, 3 hours and 10 minutes from Rome, and 2 hours and a half from Milan. BY AIR The closest airport is that of Bologna (40 km in a motorway). From there one can get the shuttle to the railway station, or to take a cab straight to Ferrara. In the latter case we advise you to inform in advance the travel agency that can provide you with a cab waiting for you at the airport at a better price (around 70 euros) than those standing there. Ferrara is conveniently located on the motorway A14 connecting Bologna to Padua and Venice. There are two exits (Ferrara Nord and Ferrara Sud). From Brennero and Verona the easiest is to take the motorway to Bologna (the so-called Brennero-Modena motorway), and once there get to the A14 motorway heading north. FEES The fees include participation to the Workshop, documents, lunches, the workshop gala dinner and morning and afternoon refreshments.
Cancellations made before August 18, 2014 will be reimbursed minus 20% of the total fee. No reimbursement will be possible after that date. Payments should be made by :
